Hi everyone, im new to the site but have been looking at your posts for a while. Anxiety and specifically HA seem to be a very common problem - and ive been searching for a solution for a while! My HA started after the birth of my son who is now 9 months old, oli have a daughter who is 2 and a half also. Since his birth ive had panic attacks which I have overcime, tingling / pin pricking sensations which I thought was MS and resulted in seeing a very good neurologist who diagnosed anxiety!!! Ive had IBS / D which I thought had gone but am still dealing with, and now constant indigestion with all the worry that you can imagine comes with that!! I just cannot help worrying its something serious. I do try to distract myself but its like a constant stream of worry and panic that I need to see a specialist quickly to diagnose whatever it is in order to get treated and be ok for my little ones. Im sure thats the underlying issue - that something horrible is going to happen to me to leave them without a mummy. I know im not the only one who feels this way having read some of your posts, and I know its a vicious circle (more worry = more symptoms) so my question is ~ how did you get better?!? What is helping you guys? Apologies for the stream
of conciousness posting...xxx

Hi welcome to nmp. Getting better for me was chaning every negative thought into a positive. When I got a negative thought I wrote it down and then rationalised it and turned it round to a positive. Not easy at first but the more you do it the easier it gets and then the positives come more naturally.
