Hello,
I thought I would post this as it will make me feel better. I struggled last year with work because of volume and juggling postgraduate student. At times it became and is still too much. I have spoken up but I find this very difficult and I realise a) I am in the wrong job and b) I do not have the confidence to deal with it anymore. Basically I have a meeting with HR and my manager (and my union rep) next Tuesday and want to know if anyone has any advice. I have been on a performance plan where most if not all has been signed off and my manager wants it resolved. On a positive note I am unlikely to be disciplined but it is still nervewracking as I suffer from anxiety.
