hi I'm a long time sufferer of health anxiety but what I wanted to ask is if anyone can relate to this . I've been having kinda sharp stabbing pains just above my left breast that can sometimes go into left arm and they scare me. I've had stress test and echo done in August last year and they came back normal. I'm just scared about these pains . Can anyone relate. Thanks.xxx

It could be trapped wind...I often get the same pains.

thanks Annie.. Hopefully that all it could b . Its hard with anxiety to not jump to the worst case scenario. I get a lot of strange symptoms in my chest between pain and popping sensations which terrify me I must say. I've been told time and time again that my heart is fine but it doesn't stop the fear which I wish it would. I do have a wonderful doc who is very supportive with this and I am seeing a psychologist who is helping me deal with issues. Its just heart problems is the major issue with my health anxiety.xxx
