virus for 3 weeks

hi ive had a cold virus with sore throat chesty cough and feeling generally poorly anyone else had a virus for that long x

If you're generally run down (very anxious, not sleeping or eating well etc) a cold can go on for ages. If it's not improved from the last week and does not continue to improve then see a doctor as you may need some tablets to give your immunity a helping hand.

I agree with Rennie1989 being anxious and rundown can definitely have a effect on the amount of time it takes to get better. Lots of nasty colds going around at the moment too that can take a while to shake. Lots of fresh fruit and veggies always seem to help me when I can't shake a bug.

I tarted with a cold about 3 weeks ago and still not completely over it. Rest works wonders but is not something I am good at :)

Yep ive had exactly that for three weeks my Dad has had it for four weeks.

but in my case it is a complete change of environment and there are different bugs in different parts of the world and strangely enough if one is agroaphobic it takes longer to shake off as one is not exposing oneself to the elements.

I have had mine for two and a half weeks and this is virus number 8 for me since last June. My Dr gave me a form for CBC but I've lost the form. It's soooooo exhausting being sick non stop :(
