Hi All,
I went for an ultrasound this evening, my Dr referred me before Christmas due to complaining of stomach pains. I thought it was IBS and wasn't too concerned about the tests today. However, I was told that I have a small polyp in my Gall Bladder and I should have it checked out again in 3-6 months time. The Radiologist reassured me that I had nothibg to worry about and that they are common. However, I am really worried now and also thinking that I have a higher chance of getting cancer now.
It is also making me paranoid in general, as if I've been given a shorter life expectancy. I'm obly 26 and have read that polyps develop in older women :(
Does anyone else live with polyps?
