Integrative Counselling for health anxiety

Hi all,

I went along for for what I thought was my CBT assessment, turns out I'm not having CBT again but I'm having Integrative Counselling... Has anyone had this for health anxiety? I asked the therapist, she said its a in depth CBT. So CBT looks at just treating the anxiety where this form looks at why I'm suffering with anxiety :s

I'm a bit confused and feeling a bit rubbish...

I looked it up and it actually sounds pretty comprehensive. It's like CBT on steroids. Certainly can't hurt to give it a shot.

Thanks Fishmanpa... Within 10 mins she asked what was stopping me committing suicide! Pretty intense to be honest!
I'm going to give it a go, let's hope it helps to sort me out!!
