I've just been prescribed a daily 1.25mg dose of Cardicor for a fast heartbeat.

Does anyone have any positive experience of this? I looked at the British Heart Foundation forum and it was all fairly negative.

Not the best with meds so dreading this one

I have been taking Bisoprolol for over 5 years since a heart attack.

What was negative about it on that site as it is the recommended medication following a heart attack.

Hi Nic,

It was all just how poor it was and the side effects (nausea and nightmares seemed to be the most popular along with radically low heart rates)

Ok I don't get any of those side effects and my heart rate is not too low and I am on 2.5mg

It does make you tired though cos it slows the heart down

That's good to know. Tablets are sitting there but no guts to take them just yet
