When I've been stressed for too long or very tired, I tend to go to sleep with my heart racing for no reason and I can wake up like 30 minutes later in a full blown panic attack. That's manageable for me right now. However, once every 2 to 3 months, I wake up and my heart is racing somewhere near 200bpm and I just lose it. But tonight, sure I had a moment of pure panic and I woke my boyfriend up (who is totally useless at night and only tells me to breathe and goes back to sleep), but I told myself : "Just wait a few moments, try it." And five minutes later THE PANIC STOPPED. It was amazing. I was not able to fall asleep right away, but within 30 minutes I was fast asleep. This is new for me and I feel like a warrior. :)
