Weird mouth sensation led to panic attack

I have been feeling one edge all night and just now I had an incredibly strange and horrible sensation. My whole mouth felt weird and my tongue didnt feel right in my mouth and I panicked thinking what if somethings happened to my tounge?! Luckily I managed to calm myslef down incredibly quickly and now have chest pains which im very proud i am accepting and not panicking over. Now however I am hyper aware of my mouth and my tongue in my mouth of course feels weird when I focus on it but trying to stay positive! Has anyone else had this? It was so scary! Thanks
