I just cannot get a good night's sleep these days, and it has me heartbroken.
I am going to bed afraid, knowing I will wake up with some pain or worry.

Even xanax, albeit small doses, doesnt help.
I take my setraline early in the morning, perhaps this would be better at night?

I use an app called I Can Help You Sleep from Paul McKenna. I have it on my phone, so I just plug my headphones in and listen to it as I drift off. It also comes in a book & cd format.

Something like it would be good to help you relax before sleep, it sounds like you're very wound up with worry at bedtime and that will work against you getting a good nights sleep.

Also rememeber

- cut out caffeine & excess sugar
- don't do anything too stimulating before bed
- get enough exercise during the day
- don't use your tablet/mobile phone for very long in the hours before bed as the blue light from the screens can stop you sleeping properly

Thanks, I will something like that.
I've cut out caffeine and try not to eat too late.
Its become a vicious circle I think.

Actually you might like this one on YouTube, it's very relaxing and perfect for just before sleep:

I usually put it on my phone with headphones in, it's better when listened to with headphones.

Give it a try :)
