Chest tightness

Since ive woken up i keep getting chest tightness. every 3-5 minutes, its a small area just above my sternum.
Feels like someone pushes there with a thumb for couple of seconds.
Im really scared because its above my sternum right in the centre.
its been going on for about an hour when i woke up.

sorry i meant its just above the bottom of my sternum where the stomach sits.

Does it relieve when you pull whatever clothing is resting on your chest? If so, I get this, and it's caused by nerves being very sensitive due to anxiety. If not chest pressure is also often resultant of acid reflux, which itself seems to go hand in hand with anxiety. Or it could be muscle tension or wind in that region, which again may be caused by anxiety.
