2mg of Diazepam for flying?

Just wondering if anyone can give some advice on what taking Diazepam 2mg is like? I am already on 5mg Cipralex and will have to also take some travel sickness pills so I am getting really worried about taking all 3 (although my doctor says it's fine, I am a med phobic!)

What do the Diazepam make you feel like? Do they make you sleep or feel weird? I am concerned about feeling out of control, like drugged, as maybe that will make me panic more.

I am not afraid of flying but because of my social anxiety and phobias I am finding it extrememly difficult to go on holiday. I am petrified, the anticipation is awful.

We leave tomorrow (if I make it!) so any advice would be much appreciated.

I would take half a tablet today and see how it makes you feel.

It affects people differently so do it before you go away.

I have taken them for a flight before. They don't make me feel 'drugged' just calmer and more relaxed.
