When you are going through a bad period of anxiety do you lose weight?.

I normally eat less when I feel anxious & often I just cant stomach eating & have to force food down me. How do you cope with this feeling of not wanting to eat when you are going through a particularly bad patch.

3 weeks ago my anxiety had peaked. It's what made me join this forum, I was a wreck. I literally could not eat and was advised to make sure I eat in the morning as it can contribute to anxiety. So I started to make myself. I'd have just one weetabix with a dash of milk. To be honest I'd feel sicky for a bit but it helped in the long run.

We have to eat, try little and often or meal replacement shakes if you're having a really hard time with it x

Anxiety itself won't make you lose weight, It is just avoiding food when you are feeling anxious that you start to notice your losing weight, Just make sure you eat small healthy portions. It's better to eat anything than nothing.

I just eat little and often and I eat what I have an appetite for. It's better then eating nothing at all.
