Pulse rate a bit higher than normal

Hi guys,

Ive had flu last week and have gradually got over it. Temp and BP all fine. Im off work though with a lower back prob.

My issue is that although id say im pretty much over the flu (im still just slightly chesty coughing up flem a bit), my pulse rate seems stuck around the 80-85bpm mark.

Normally its between 65-72bpm mark.

So now im worried because surely it should have dropped back to normal levels right?

Any advice appreciated. Im a little worried now. :weep:

While I never keep track of my heart rate, I know for a fact that ones general heart rate can vary hour to hour, day to day, week to week, month to month etc.... Various factors influence it including a bout with the flu.

Hi again,

Id say im completely over the flu, but the damned heart rate still hovering around the 80bpm mark. It SHOULD be back to the normal range and its not.

ANyone else have this?
