My gp referred me to the breast unit as was having nipple discharge from my right breast. I had a mammogram and that breast was fine but the radiologist saw a shadow on my left breast, they repeated the mammogram from a different angle and it was still there.
So, she scanned it and did a biopsy of it. I asked what it was and she said it's not a lump it's a shadow so can't be sure so biopsies. It's not a cyst.
Has anyone any experience of this. I am really petrified.
