venlafaxine and oversleeping

Hi,

I'm taking 2 x 37.5 mg of venlafaxine, i'm having real problems sleeping at the minute.

I'm following the Drs advice about exercise I do mon - martial arts / tue - gym / Wed - Martial arts / Thu or Fri - Gym.

I'm now unable to sleep in the evening I use tesco sleep easy tea bags to try and help sleep and these don't work.

I'm going through a process of redundancy at work which isn't really helping me and i've tendered my resignation just before I wrote this. I'm feeling really anxious tired angry and bitter and this isn't helping.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.... Anything .......

Hi i take venlafaxine, ask your Gp to prescribe you the 75mg slow release tablets so you only need to take 1 tablet a day in the morning and this should help, i didn't sleep well on them until i was swapped over x x
