Hello everybody,

I am new here. I've suffered general anxiety since I was a child which developed into OCD. I battled with this for most of my teenage years. As an adult I have a combination of OCD and major health anxieties. I worry everyday and have done for as long as I can remember. It's mainly centred around my daughter now. I have been in and out of therapy - including CBT - which are useful until I stop sessions. I have been offered medication but cannot bring myself to take them as that would just cause more anxiety due to the possibility of side effects. I really would like to get a hold on it but not sure if its possible. Either way, I have to find a way to cope with my anxieties without involving everyone around me so this looks like the perfect place :D
