Hi I just found this site quite by accident. I'm not sure if it's panic I suffer from but I certainly have trouble sleeping at night. It all started a few years ago when I had my gall bladder removed. The surgery went fine but after when they tried to remove the tube from my throat, my throat swelled up and I passed out. It was the single most terrifying thing that has ever happened to me. I woke up later on and found out that I had technically died for a couple of minutes and they had to revive me. Ever since, when I try to go to sleep all I can think about is that experience; if I'm going to wake up again.
