Hi everyone,
My name is Jay, I'm 23, and...well, I got here via a Google search for "intrusive thoughts are ruining my life", so that should give you a pretty good idea of what made me join this forum. I have anxiety, IBS and, I'm starting to suspect, pure-O OCD. I'm on Sertraline and I'm seeing a therapist, but I think I need a space to talk to people who experience the same problems that I do, because...well, y'know, there are some things you can't exactly just tell your friends about. I feel constantly like I'm a freak or a terrible person, or like I'm just lying to myself about being "normal". Some days I'm okay and some days it tears me up inside.
