I'm really struggling with trying to eat properly at the moment. I'm on Day 6 of 80mg slow release propanolol and the thought of eating seems to be triggering attacks and is stopping me from eating.

I'm thinking that some kind of liquid food supplement could help.

The weird thing is I get 'flashes' of feeling hungry but then the panic attack takes over & I've lost my appetite again.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Not eating will only increase your anxiety. At the very least, the nutritional supplement drinks will get calories and nutrients into you.

Try having five smaller meals instead what you would normaly would ,this worked for me when my anxiety was high ,and I was like you just couldnt eat without panic setting in ,I dont have a problem with eating now x
