Convinced I have a lung infection

2 days ago I drank some fanta that i'm convinced 'went down the wrong hole'

Since then i'm worried that everything I eat and drink is going into my lungs and I'm scared that I have a lung infection because my throat is all mucusy and I keep clearing my throat.

I'm convinced theres something wrong with my lungs

(Had my period yesterday so my anxiety has increased alot)

I think if everything you were eating or drinking was going into your lungs you would be extremely ill by now and unable to breathe. I think you have just worried yourself as I am sure all is fine now

Hi Channie,

If everything was going into your lungs you would be in an extreme amount of pain and you wouldn't be able to breathe. You'd be awfully unwell and already in hospital. Check in with your GP if you are really worried, they'll be able to reassure you.
