The difference between knowing and KNOWING is such a struggle. I know that when I have a panic, it will pass and won’t do me any harm, but I also KNOW that if I don’t run away something terrible will happen. I know that if I get a jolt of adrenaline it will make me feel jittery, nervous and panicky, but I also KNOW that it is a sign that something is fearfully wrong. I know that nobody has ever gone mad or died of feeling panicky, but I KNOW that this time I might swallow my tongue or go insane or have a stroke or suffocate.

This is just me venting… I am enough of a panic expert so know what is happening to me and what it all means, but some days I just can’t convince myself. I’m having a two diazepam day today so thought I’d have a little rant about what’s on my mind.

Carry on about your business folks. Nothing to see here.
