Not sure if I'm in the right section with this but here goes! Has anybody any experience of the following self-help mental health program......

There's a group that meets near me on Thursday's so might pop along..just a bit wary.

I don't know of them but I would be VERY wary of any group that suggest that 'their way' is the right way.

A good therapist skilled in CBT, hypnotherapy or other modern (read: taking a few sessions, not months) should be able to offer you significant improvements.

Yes there's a fee but many ex-American groups work a 'bait and switch' number on fragile people. 'join up for only £30.00 say, reel you in 'you now need £100.00' disbeliving but interested you follow .....
.... and once you've been tapped for thousands you're out.

There are MANY like this - you don't need that way.

Although I'd also state that an innefective therapist will be taking money under false pretences as well

There is a very good website call the Cult education forum pop the name of the group in question into their search field (top right of screen ) and see what comes up - could be the best research you've done in 2007.
