Query about this med

I've tried sertraline and citalopram now with the same effect. High anxiety worse than before the tablets. I'm not prepared to take another ssri and risk it happening again. It's the pits at the moment trying to get back to normality.
Is this drug calming at all?
I don't want to really take any meds but I need something to calm the adrenalin.
I've come to the conclusion I'm not depressed so don't need my mood lifting, I just need the adrenalin to stop!
I've tried diazepam but it doesn't seem to be working fully and I know I've only got so long on it.
Any help is much appreciated.

Yes it is brilliant for anxiety.......

This drug can be calming for generalised anxiety - probably not panic attacks. It is not an SSRI.

Good luck with it - it doesn't work for everyone - you just have to try it.
