I have suffered from anxiety and panic attacks on and off since the age of 7. I am 60 now and am just retiring and it seems to have got much worse - particularly health anxiety. Just visited the dentist for a check up and had to have valium to get me through the door. I have had psychotherapy in the past which helped for a while.
