I suddenly stopped taking 40mg a day of Citalopram after3 years (was a mistake as forgot to bring on a months holiday abroad).
The side effects have been horrendous, I feel anxious, low and wake up panicky.
However I have stopped craving alcohol, something that became a real issue while I was on the medication.
I've read about links before but I fully believe there is one after the last 6 weeks. My dilemma now is do I start taking thy medication to feel better and risk drinking a lot again (I was craving morning, noon and night) or dont start and feel constantly low and anxious.......
