I know assurance seeking is so wrong but I'll ask this anyway, If I had what I fear a BRAIN TUMOR which I have now been thinking since OCTOBER 2012....19 months would I be right in thinking I'd either be dead or it would be a benign tumor by now?

What's the rational and logical answer to that question? :)

Positive thoughts

Since I'm neither rational of logical right now I don't know

My Brain tells me I would be correct in that assumption so yes?

Have you seen a doctor about your fears?

I'm quite familiar to the feeling that I have a brain tumour. Do you have any symptoms that are making you jump to that conclusion? If so what are they?
I convinced myself I had a brain tumour just before Christmas. I started getting headaches in the back of my head - I was always getting them at the front but never at the back. Typed it into Google and BAM - I had a brain tumour. I also felt dizzy and both my arms felt numb for about a week, I was worried I was going to have a seizure. Turns out I had pulled a muscle in the back of my neck - and pain is sometimes located in the head as a result. The dizziness and numb arms was a result of the anxiety.
Please try not to worry.

My symptoms are actually many over the past 19 months,

Headaches on and off
dizziness
sweating

but the biggest symptom for me right now is that I have gone "cross eyed" although I already had a squint since childhood and also a cornea disease, waiting on appointment to see the various eye specialists again now.

just got to the idea that surly if I did have one for 19 months I wouldn't be sat here now typing about it....

Im no doctor but if you had a metastatic brain tumour I'm pretty sure that in 19 months you would at least be having seizures by now, or most likely dead.
Headaches can be a sign of many things - including dehydration and stress.
Dizziness - a sign of anxiety
Sweating - again anxiety

It's quite a coincidence - I also have had a squint since childhood. I don't know much about cornea disease, however I do know that my squint worsens when i'm tired, stressed or trying to look at myself in the mirror!
So if you've been so anxious and it effects your sleep - this may be a contributing factor. You need to weigh up the likelihood of the causes of your symptoms and keep them in perspective.
- Oh and no more Googling!
