So worried about a scabby really sore lump on scalp

I am in the process of changing over to sertraline and while I am on a low dose my anxiety is so bad, please help reassure me.

I have had a huge lump come up on my scalp and its scabby and very painful. I am scared its melanoma of the scalp. I googled briefly then panicked as I broke all my rules about googling. Havent done it for years.

Please help reassure me.

I am also awaitin CBT, but at this moment in time I am convinced I am going to die

If you are really worried perhaps a quick trip to the Dr will give you some peace of mind

I will but I am in a state now :( plus its huge if I go to the drs its going to be bad

Why is it going to be "bad"!??? You don't know that until you get it looked at..... it could just be a "scab"!!!. Until it is looked at you will not know....
