Hey guys, I've already suffered from testicular cancer once! and I'm getting slight discomfort in my testicle but only after having sexual intercourse.
I have checked for lumps and what not, and everything seems fine.
I mean the only possibility I can think of is, too much too soon?
I don't know, I can't remember having this problem before.

Having health anxiety and all, I don't want to keep checking for lumps and what not, because even after 3times checking it feels sore, and checking, poking/prodding them will just add to the ache.

Currently it feels like when you check your testicles with cold hands, I have that type of sensation.

What are the chances it happening after masterbation, because its happened on two separate occasions, that plus having sex?

I have checked for lumps ect and everything seems normal. But I will definitely go Dr if it doesn't stop within a week.
I think last time I went to the Dr about testicular pain due to cycling at the time he told me to come back next week if it still hurts to do a scan.

Also for all you males out there, when I check my testicles for lumps and stuff, at the back and front it feels squidgy? like veins or something. I'm pretty sure this has always been there and it's normal from whenever I have checked but just like to get re-assurance from you guys and I am just over thinking this.

What the hell is wrong with my testicle! it literally aches so bad tonight, im taking it out on other people because its aching so much, and sending pains throguh my legs.
I keep checking testicle for lumps or swelling and ive checked it so many times probably 4/5 maybe more times a day ive forgotten what normal even feels like.
This is going to be a long shit weekend, unless the pain magically goes away.

Stop. Touching. Your. Nuts. I don't have testicles but I am a sufferer of health anxiety. Whenever i kept prodding and poking it made it worse. You're constantly thinking about it so you'll notice it more. A few weeks ago I thought my mole was hurting. Like I fully believed it was growing right there and then but it was the anxiety. Book an appointment with your doctor and stop touching them. If the pain goes away you can always cancel :) x

I have made an appointment for Weds, but its scaring me, thats why i keep checking for any lumps. I just keep thinking, what if my cancer has come back and its a scary thought.

What if it hasn't? You're bound to worry after having cancer before, but you had cancer before and got through it. You can get through this and in the meantime don't poke or squeeze! You're making them hurt more. You're doing what anybody else can and would do. Keep us updated, will be sending you positive thought vibes x

Thanks for your replies, really appreciate it, I've stopped checking my testicle now :P but I still look for any swelling or visible lumps

Haven't checked them for 2 days now, maybe the odd once or twice, and pain is still there :(
It's not sharp or anything, just a dull ache and sometimes in left and right groin areas, the pain also goes to my legs too, not all the time though.

We'll done! Next thing to do is try to stop thinking about them. Your seeing your doctor soon :) and remember mind is powerful, if you're focused on something you'll be hypersensitive to it x

I know this is a hard question for you guys to answer but I'm going to ask it anyways, could it possibly be cancer even though there's no lumps or signs of swelling?

I'm not sure many people would be comfortable answering that - it's not cancer until you're diagnosed with it. You're seeing your doctor and doing as much as anybody can if you're concerned. Please stay positive and even IF and I mean IF it has come back, you beat it once and you can beat it again x

If it occurred after sex, you could have twisted them. Any activity in that area would cause discomfort then.

See your GP. If it could be cancer, they will be straight with you but if its a twist, then will sort it and put your mind at rest.


Did your cancer present itself like this the first time? If not, perhaps hold onto that until you see your GP.


Have you had treatment recently or an operation in that area, so it could just be that you've overdone it too soon?
