I've lost count of the heart tests I've had done the past year, but I'm still terrified I'm getting coronary artery spasms cos they're really hard to detect, and just reading about someone here who got diagnosed with them set me off (not their fault at all, it's just their symptoms sounded similar to mine). I'm so hot and sweaty and very dizzy and sick now and feel like I can't breathe. Feel like I'm going to pass out. I'm afraid that getting so afraid has triggered a spasm

Getting stressed is going to cause a panic attack. I have the sane exact symptoms when I have a panic attack. My left arm went numb once it was so bad. Anxiety causes the heart to be stressed and it reacts. Try to relax a panic attack is not a heart attack.

So, all the people who have had heart problems diagnosed for real...what tests do you think they've had different to yours? The tests are all the same, if you have a heart problem it shows up and if you don't, it doesn't. And that is it. They know the difference with the readings...cos they're heart specialists and we're not. If all those tests you've had were negative perhaps its time to let it go...what say you?

See the thing is, artery spasms don't always show up in the tests and many people aren't diagnosed with them til something serious happens like a heart attack or dangerous arrhythmia :-/

Ended up in hospital again.

All of what you're describing sounds like a panic attack.
Remember CAS are very rare. I know I'm a fine one to talk as I've been worrying about it, it's natural when 'one of ours' turns out to have an actual issue. But remember the person you're talking about had a couple of abnormal ecgs which showed an incling of a problem and he collapsed a couple of times in so much pain.

You've hit the nail on the head here...

This is the crux of health anxiety.
