Hey guys I'm still stuck in hospital which sucks but I'm slowly on the mend. Anywho one of my nurses suggested aromathearpy to calm my nerves during my hospital stay as I don't really like taking sedatives. Can anyone suggest any certain scents?

Lavendar is a popular one. You could also try some of the following:

Rose,
Orange,
Bergamot,
Sandalwood'
Geranium,
Chamomile.

Perhaps you could ask the nurse which one she would suggest, if she's still around. I use lavender on my pillow to help me sleep. Combined with Rescue Remedy and a herbal tea for sleep it's fantastic and really works.

I would suggest Lavender, Chamomile, Bergamot, Valerian, Sandalwood, Jasmine and Geranium essential oils are all good for anxiety. You can use them in an oil burner or add a few drops to your bath. They can also be used with a carrier oil for massage. just a few drops added to the carrier oil (such as grapeseed)

I'm surprised you're still in the hospital as it's been over a week since the angio and they ruled out anything life threatening. I was home 5 days after open heart surgery and 4 days later after a 2nd heart attack and stents. Have they told you why they're keeping you so long? It would drive me batty just to lay around if I was Ok....

My cardio says one of my arterys keeps going into spasum and there kinda scratching there heads on what to do as its in a awkward postion. I'm being transferred to a different hospital soon to be looked at by a specialist. It is getting vety frustrating being stuck here
