SSRI Sexual side effects, something that helped me

Hi all,
As some of you will know sexual dysfunction is a common side effect of SSRI treatment. Anyway, I have found Trazodone has helped me immensely. More as an unexpected side effect than by design. I had been using Trazodone 50mg alongside Sertaline to help me sleep and I noticed my libido had been through the roof.:blush:

I figured it was the Sert but after i stopped the Trazodone it went. I have since managed to get both prescribed by the doctor and I feel like I did before I first started SSRIs. So, if anyone else is being troubled by this particular side effect it maybe worth speaking to your doctor about a low dosage of Trazodone as an add-on. :yesyes:

for me the ssri sexual side effects was kind of a good thing i could last longer but could not win partner complained if it was wham baam and then complained if we was going at it for ages lol

Was it a psych doc you asked or your regular gp?
