Since having health anxiety I've not really.. eaten many foods sugary.
I drink fanta a lot because its a drink i'm comfortable with and I don't worry about allergic reactions when drinking it and I know it has a lot of sugar in. Besides that I don't really have anything sugary.

Today I treated myself to a triffle. A cream, custard, jelly desert in a bowl. I ate a decent amount of it and ended up getting a bit of a headache.

I know its probably due to the new amount of sugar i've eaten.. but what I wanna know is, will it harm me?

I'm not really use to sugar headache's so i'm anxious about it.

To much of anything is not good for you. These days you can read the labels to see how much of your daily allowance each product contains. I guess the thing about sugar is that too much will make you fat.

Sugar in a meal isn't going to harm you, unless you are sensitive to it as in the case of certain types of Diabetes.

Your body knows how to handle the sugar and as a result you sometimes have things like this where you feel it affectnig you but the body will deal with it on autopilot.

It's long term use of sugar that is more the issue, just like with salt.
Everything in moderation and if possible cut out some of the bad sugars.

There are different types of sugar and we need certain amounts anyway.
