Valerian and kava?

Can you combine these? I really can't find anything conclusive online. Thanks

It doesn't seem to been studied by anyone other than one trial for stress induced insomnia and that trial was flawed.

According to Drugs.com it had a Moderate level of interaction, which means it is clinically significant and should be avoided.

It does say that combining them could increase their side effects.

There are some forums discussing it when I googled it.

There are concerns about using Kava Kava at the same time as Benzos e.g. Diazepam.

Also it can cause problems of any medication you take affects or could affect your liver.

So be really careful in researching things like this.
