Hi all. I'm a 32 yr old female, healthy. For about the past few days,
I have had a really nasty cold with a lot of mucus. I've noticed some mucus and blood in my stool. Bm'a are regular and soft. No abdominal pain. I'm a nurse and very worried about colon cancer although this does not run in my family. I have no insurance currently so I can't go to the doctor. Very scared . Advice please??

You said you have a bad cold, have you maybe got post nasal drip and that's were the blood is coming from? when we have a cold we get inflammation in our nasal passages and often this will cause bloody mucus.
Or maybe you have an infection that's passing through your body, have you got piles.
Only real way to find out is go to the Drs and they will be able to tell you for sure, cant you go to a walk in centre?
