Good morning Max

Sorry to hear that you're back into the old sleep deprivation thing. It's truly dreadful when you're bouncing off the walls thru lack of sleep. An awful lot of the time it's about being relaxed when you get to bed - or relaxing when you get INTO bed. You know the sort of thing, warm bed, glass of warm milk, gentle breathing, soft relaxing music, lavendar oil on pillow etc - plus whatever medication you may need. Have you rtied the Bach Remedies - I know I've mentioned Rescue Remedy to you before for panic - its really helped me - I prefer the spray; I kep it by the bedside.

I don't have too many problems getting to sleep (I do take a sleep tab), but I only get 4hours or so and after a few days I feel incredibly sleep-deprived and start bouncing off the walls.

I'm off to see my GP this morning - about the sleep thing and CBT. He's been generally supportive and helpful, but he's not paricularly 'touch-feeley' and I don't know how he'll respond to the CBT request.

Will be on line later and let you know.

Take care

Sandie

Thankyou Honeybee3939 for your input, will have a look in short while.
For some reason i find White Musk used to help instead of Lavender scents. But recently nothing seems to work. Bach Remedies seem to work in the spray form when i am a little anxious about appointments but nothing else. Sleeping Remedies from chemist i am yet to try, but don`t know which would be the best to use, yet! I hace had sleepers for a week and the first 3 days it was PERFECT, but the last 4 was worthless. I have previously tried my friends pills and they work a treat. But i don`t think i will get those as they are an extremmly high doseage of anti - depression pills 2 in 1!
My next app is on 11 Dec and hope she treats it well enough for me to get into a good pattern. I start Voluntary work next fri!! Can`t wait.
