Hi all

I am 35 and have suffered with general and social anxiety since a child. I left school at 13 because I was unable to cope, and have not been able to work throughout my adult life. I have been on Citalopram 20mg for several years and had a course of CBT which helped a little. I feel like I've missed out a lot on life and this depresses me.

I came across this website several years ago while going through a bad patch, and things are a little rough at the moment so I here I am again for some reassurance and support :)
