My resting heart rate is 108bpm and quite erratic. I'm absolutely terrified, please tell me this can be normal??

I get this too. Often when laid in bed it comes on for no reason and is scary. A rapid, uneven heartbeat is part of the body's response to increased adrenaline levels caused by anxiety. It is perfectly normal and most anxiety sufferers get this. It cannot hurt you, it's just an unpleasant sensation. Have a read of the Symptoms page on this website. Relax, you will be fine. X
