A month ago I had an episode where I couldn't move my leg. The next day I was in the ER with a panic attack and dystonia. That's where you have involuntary muscle stiffness, scared my husband and immediately after could not move my leg again while in the hospital. The attending said I had a panic attack, but the leg thing and the dystonia, she said were caused by meds. I was coming off of a steroid, no taper, then put on cymbalta and xanax, could that cause it? I have health anxiety so, I am scared that it was something else, has anyone else done this?

When I first had bad panic attacks many years ago I was in hospital and had paralysis in my legs and arms followed by severe pins and needles all over my body and or twitching and was on no medication just having severe panic. When I next had panic attacks several years later it didn't happen again nor has it since . X
