Hi Everybody.

I was just wondering if anyone could recommend a good book that has helped with their HA?

I am currently waiting on a referral for CBT treatment but want to do/read something that may help ease my severe anxiety right now.

Thank

H

Self Help for your Nerves by Dr Claire Week's has helped me and many people on this forum. Perhaps it may help you :)

Not specifically HA but anxiety in general 'at last a life'

One of the best ones I read is 'The Phantom Illness' by Carla Cantor. I believe it might be out of print now but it might be available second hand. I also really liked 'The Imp of the Mind'. It's focused on OCD but I found it very helpful in understanding the thought processes of HA. I also recommend Claire Weeks.
