Hello everyone! I've been suffering from one form of anxiety or another my whole life. As a child it was always some form of OCD. Now it has manifested into major health anxiety along with general anxiety. Every day is a struggle and I want to get better. But I need people in my life who understand the pain and frustration I deal with every day. This site has helped me feel like I am not so alone. I hope that along with the comfort and reassurance I receive from you all that I can also supply the same hope for many others on here.

Well you have two things that will help you get better

1) you have insight about your problems
And 2) you have joined NMP

Hi, there
I can't offer much advice as I am trying to dig myself out of my own living hell, but I'm here for you and I will try to help anyway I can :)

I think I have health anxiety to an extent. Just know that your not alone and others feel what you're going through. Hope you start feeling better soon.

Thank you DaProdigy. I feel like I waste so much time googling symptoms trying to find answers that I'm wasting my life

From personal experience, I would NOT be on the Internet searching your symtoms. Almost every deadly disease or ailment have common and basic symptoms. I don't know if you have visited your physician to have a check up or not but that's where you may want to start.

I have an appointment in a week and a half

Hopefully everything is fine and that will relieve some stress.

I hope so. I had to take my son to his doctor today so I had him check my ears and lymph nodes in case they really are something to worry about but he didn't seem concerned.

I know it's very hard to not worry but try not too. If the doctor wasn't concerned I wouldn't be. But again, I know it's difficult.

I appreciate your support. I swear I have so many symptoms at once it's ridiculous. I'm so tired....
