View Full Version : Breaking habits. Any advice?

Hi all,

Through the help of my CBT councellor and reading Claire Weekes books (do read them, they are a Godsend) ive noticed i tend to think in a certain way and I have some bad patterns that i think i need to break. The ones in particular are the negative thought-panic cycle, my sleeping pattern (which is that i go to bed late, wake up late, which is probably a student thing) and my lack of motivation. All of these combined really do seem to be holding me back from achieving things, performing at my best and beating this monster, whom i like to call Bruce. Has anyone got any advice on breaking patterns? Ive had them for so long i dont know how to get out of them.
