Faded Eyesight?

Does anyone here experience a sensation of faded (or slightly cloudy) eyesight?

I've had this over the last couple months, and I wonder if it can be brought on by stress, fatigue, or other common causes?

I get "smokey vision" when anxious if that's what you mean. My doctor said it was anxiety :)

Ah, wow, that's the first I've heard of anxiety affecting vision. But it's reassuring! Thanks, Amandala. :)

It's especially reassuring, because I was foolish to put off my regular optometrist check-up. It's been several years now, so the thought has entered my mind that I'm losing my vision and I could've caught the problem in time if only I'd seen my optometrist earlier.
