Is it normal for my breathing to be extremly bad while suffering from anxiety?
I feel as if I cannot breathe or are breathing too hard/fast etc.
Any help is apprecieated

dony worry thats a text book anxiety symptom i bet 95% of the members of n.m.p including my self have had them it scares the life out of you at the time but rest assured its anxiety

Oh gosh yes...it always makes my asthma worse.

It is not like a panic attack I feel that I struggle to breath all the time, do you think thats also a part of aniexty?

Hi, Tally. If this happens when you are NOT feeling anxious, maybe you should consider a check-up. It can't hurt. It probably *is* anxiety, but I don't know that it sould be happening all the time. Good luck to you!!!

It can happen when you're not feeling anxious though ^^

Happens to me quite a lot, it's a bloody pain quite literally.

I find I get this when anxious and when I think Im not anxious,if that makes sense!!!!!!!!probably not.[Duh!];)

hello.
As you can probably tell from the amount of responses this is very common. It's such an awful feeling and you feel like your suffocating. I sometimes feel like i have a lump in my throat too which won't go away. All this is just part of feeling anxious unfortunately. Take care x
