Had pre op test at hospital on Friday. Bp was 156\93 twice and then 138/78 on third time. Have to have small op on Monday and really worried about this and blood pressure. Have always had a problem. If bp is still in 150's would they still give me anaesthetic . Scared

Probably yes... Sounds like typical white coat syndrome which is perfectly normal under the circumstances. Good luck Monday!

Yep they will I would think as it was not high just moderately above. "Normal" also they go on your third reading which shows Its going down and was in the normal range by then.
As fishmanpa said, typical white coat syndrom,mine goes up at the sight of the BP monitor.
Don't worry you will be fine.
