Has anyone taken restoril for insomnia. I have taken 15 mg for 3 nights and slept for 2 to 4 hours. Went back to atvian and slept for 6 and then took .5 again after I woke up and slept for another 3. I called the doctor to refill it and he won't do it. He wants me to take the restoril. I could not sleep with it. I had to call in sick, to work because of it. I don't know what I'm going to do. Can I be addicted to the ativan? After 5 weeks? Has anyone been through this? Any suggestions?

The other name for restoril is diazepam, in case no one has heard of restoril.
