For the past couple of weeks I've had pains in my neck and head that have progressively gotten worse. It started with a few shooting pains in my head and some tension in the base of my skull and my head kept clicking when I was trying to go asleep at night. I'm at the stage now where my temples are very sore. I usually sleep on my right side but can't due to the pain in my temple. My neck and base of skull are also very painful. When I'm lying down my head feels stiff. I can't sleep at night because I'm so worried it might be something worse than a tension headache and fear that if I go asleep I might not wake up. Does anyone else get these pains??
