I have been a sufferer of severe chronic headaches for 15 yrs. I took 20 mg of Citalopram for anxiety for nine months. During those nine months on Citalopram my headaches were almost non existant. Now that I have been off Citalopram for three weeks my headaches are back (in the same area with the same intensity). Has anybody that has taken Citalopram for depression/ anxiety had their severe headaches subside while on the drug? Did the headaches return after being off the drug for a while?
