Sympathy fatigue

I haven't been here very long, but I wonder if members have become tired of the 'same old' symptoms, fears, and requests for help.

I ask because I've noticed a lot of views on threads that have gotten a minimal response, at best, which saddens me.

But at the same time I wonder if members have been posting about the same problems and questions for so long that everyone else has reached 'sympathy fatigue.'

Is this true? Do people just not have the energy to write more than a few reassuring replies here and there, if at all?

Yes in some respect but isn't it nice to know you are not the only one out there.
