I don't know if I'm doing this right...I am trying to attach a picture... I can feel two super hard pointy bumps where I'm pointing on my neck. They are sore, terrified they are rock hard lymph nodes. Are they bones? Can anyone else feel the same thing??? I'm freaking ooouuuut

How are not choking yourself? ~lol~

To answer your question... It's most likely your Hyoid bone you're feeling.

I googled hyoid bone and this is lower than that. The hyoid appears to be right under the chin

Cervical vertebrae perhaps? You are digging in pretty deep there 24...

After much googling, I'm pretty sure it could be the transverse process of a cervical vertebrae. Maybe because I'm thinner than usual right now that's why I can feel them....I'm just terrified the hard spots are actually rock hard lymph nodes(I'm worried about all my lymph nodes currently.....)

I'll say this and leave it at that....

I had head and neck cancer. I had lymph nodes that presented themselves as such. I 100% assure you that you wouldn't have to dig that deep to feel a hard lymph node. So I can say, based on my experience as well as my last check up on Monday when my ENT/Surgeon dug into my neck like your pic and said "That's bone... I don't feel anything out of the ordinary", that it's not hard nodes you're feeling.

Please stay away from Dr. Google. Nothing good comes of it unless you need some great chili recipes ;)

They are bones, its your transverse process. I thought same thing as you a couple of years ago and after many different opinions my physio solved it!

I had a fear about those too. They are normal bones!
